WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently visited the ESPN morning show “Get Up.” Throughout the interview, Seth Rollins has touched on several issues, which include his forthcoming mixed-tag match with his wife. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is on the same level as CM Punk and AJ Lee. The excitement around the match is sky-high, especially with AJ Lee making her WWE return on September 5 after nearly a decade away.
Long-Awaited Comeback of AJ Lee
WrestlePalooza is the first in-ring performance of AJ Lee since March 2015. Seth Rollins admitted that no one truly knows what she will bring to the table after such a long hiatus. Nonetheless, as she has done in her recent assaults on both Rollins and Lynch, it is evident that she has not lost her touch.
Tensions were taken to another level on the most recent episode of RAW. AJ Lee hit Seth Rollins in the same manner Becky Lynch had hit CM Punk. Rollins and Lynch were able to reverse the situation despite the shock. Before the couple retreated, Lynch gave Lee a Manhandle Slam, leaving Punk enraged in the ring.
Paul Heyman Fires Back

Seth Rollins was moderately criticized, and his manager, Paul Heyman, was considerably more outspoken. Appearing on ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith, Heyman minimized the talents of AJ Lee as compared to Becky Lynch. He pointed out that Lynch is not a normal wrestler but the first woman to do a main event and win at WrestleMania over Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.
Heyman had contended that, according to him, AJ Lee should not be in the same league with Lynch. He even went a notch higher and proposed that the match be nothing other than Seth Rollins versus CM Punk, with the future of Lee being pegged on the result.
The Stage Is Set for WrestlePalooza
Fans already know what to expect from Heyman; his unwavering loyalty lies with Team Becky. However, his provocative remarks have further created more anticipation for the game. This Saturday, September 20, we have WrestlePalooza, in which the night will be full of action.
Besides the Seth Rollins & Lynch vs. Punk and Lee match, Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Stephanie Vaquer will fight with IYO SKY to make somebody a new Women’s Champion, and John Cena will have the opportunity to fight with Brock Lesnar in a much-anticipated match.
