For quite some time, the WWE’s Raw tag team division has been lacking. There aren’t many teams or storylines that carry significant television time on RAW. Ever since last year, the same teams have consistently kept tossing the World Tag Team Titles around like a hot potato. Only The Judgment Day, The War Raiders, or The New Day have held the titles.
With the same team vying for the title for a better part of 2025, there are plenty of ways for Raw to shake up its tag team divison
WWE Must Call up Teams from NXT
WWE should call up Hank and Tank from NXT. This particular team in NXT has shown definite improvement with their in-ring training and carried gold for four months. Now that Hank and Tank are no longer champions, a call-up might come for them in the foreseeable future. They’re young, hungry, and ready to showcase their talents as a tag team.
Bringing up Hank and Tank will boost Raw’s face teams against its strong heel factions. First, Hank and Tank can face fellow NXT grads The Creed Brothers, and then move on to chase the titles.
Brand Shake Up Via SmackDown
Unlike the current RAW tag team division, SmackDown is thriving in that field. On the SmackDown side, there are multiple rivalries going on with different teams, all trying to become champions. The WWE Universe would witness tag teams settle their feuds with two out of three falls, or even ladder matches. One team from SmackDown who can benefit by moving to RAW is Angel and Berto of Los Garza.
After winning the AAA tag gold, Angel and Berto could make the same impact on a different show. After nearly 7 years in WWE, it’s time for Angel and Berto to get the Tag Team titles.
Forms Teams From Within
If there is one team that can shake up the RAW tag team division, it’s Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. These two can definitely shape up the tag team title picture. Reed and Breakker can show their dominance in Seth Rollins’ The Vision by winning the RAW Tag Titles.
WWE can form a RAW team by moving Rey Fénix from SmackDown. This would be a great approach because Fénix’s brother, Penta, is already on RAW. The New Day and Grayson Waller constantly attack Penta in his current storyline. Fénix could reunite The Lucha Bros in WWE to support his brother.
