WWE Confirms Break Up of Popular Raw Tag Team

A Town Down Under is no more. While Austin Theory and Grayson Waller have seemingly been at odds for months, Waller formally announced the end of their partnership and an Austin Theory injury this week on Monday Night Raw continuing his storyline with the New Day.

After New Day lost in a No. 1 contender’s match for the World Tag Team Championship, they made their way backstage where they ran into AJ Styles, who was in a janitor’s uniform, mopping the floor and continuing to mess with Dominik Mysterio. Xavier Woods was livid saying WWE was falling apart. First, Adam Pearce destroyed his own tag team division, then there were two El Grande Americanos, one of which interfered in the very chaotic tag team triple threat. The only thing that made sense to Woods was that Styles was a janitor like he should have been all along.

Kofi Kingston said the simulation was broken as he called for tech support. Woods said they needed to do something to fix this, to gain the advantage back. Cue Grayson Waller, who said Austin Theory got himself injured so finally, Waller was able to rid the deadweight. He said he was a free agent now so if the New Day were looking for some extra help, he was their guy. Waller offered to get the car as Woods and Kingston were left confused. The two began discussing the possibility before the camera cut away.

One of the main factors in the tag team match was the extra hands as the Creeds used Ivy Nile and LWO used Dragon Lee at various points. Of course, one of those aforementioned El Grande Americanos also showed up in a pretty overbooked finish. But the point being, the New Day were the only team out there that didn’t have a third. Perhaps that will change now that Grayson Waller is hanging around running their errands.
