The man known as El Grande Americano has been a subject of much speculation across WWE. Since his first appearance, people have been asking questions. Why is he here? Who is he? He hasn’t let rumors affect him, as he has numerous impressive victories over the company’s luchadors. However, when he made his presence known on the June 30, 2025 episode of Monday Night Raw, things seemed different. Usually, the Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile were supportive of him.
However, his appearance left them stunned and unable to speak. It appeared the masked luchador had a huge growth spurt, as he was taller than he was in his last appearance. Last night on Monday Night Raw, this new El Grande Americano faced off against Dragon Lee.
A Height Change Didn’t Matter as He Walked Away Victorious
El Grande Americano walked into the Amica Mutual Pavilion ready to defeat yet another luchador in Dragon Lee. He was victorious numerous times, so why should this time be any different? The masked man certainly didn’t feel any other, but everyone in the arena sensed that something was amiss.

Did whoever was under the mask grow a few inches since two weeks ago? Was there someone different under the mask? So many questions hovered around the man known as El Grande Americano. When he made his entrance into the ring, it didn’t shake off the feeling that everyone was looking at a brand new man.
His moveset was different than before, probably because of his huge growth spurt. However, his height didn’t seem to stop him as he and Dragon Lee exchanged blows. Things seemed quite even in the match. But then El Grande Americano did what he always did to win. He grabbed a piece of metal and put it in his mask.
Then he headbutted Dragon Lee to grab the victory. Even though the man under the mask might be different, the tricks stayed the same. There is no escaping the loaded mask for his opponents. With this statement victory, what is next for this new El Grande Americano?
