The field is officially set for the upcoming WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match being held at Evolution 2 this weekend as both the Raw and NXT teams were announced during WWE Raw tonight.
WWE Raw Tonight: Kabuki Warriors Reunite, Join ZaRuca for Evolution 2 Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Last week, Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis came together to make a decision regarding the women’s tag team titles. Instead of have Raquel Rodriguez and her injured partner Liv Morgan vacate the belts they won the Raw after WrestleMania, the two GMs opted to let new Judgment Day member Roxanne Perez step in for the injured former champ. On one condition – that Perez and Rodriguez defend their newly won titles in a 4-way match against a team from each brand.
Later that week, their SmackDown opponent was revealed as Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss won a qualifying match to become the Friday night representatives. There was less fanfare for the announcement of the NXT team as Sol Ruca and Zaria were announced as the NXT representatives during a graphic that aired earlier in the night.

That left just one remaining spot and it would be determined shortly after Perez’ bout with Kairi Sane.
Perez requested the match with Sane to help get her in the good graces of her new partner. It was Sane who Judgment Day faults with injuring Morgan and taking her out of action. During the match, Judgment Day did what they do best and put the numbers game to work as Rodriguez got involved. However, Sane still pulled out the win which led to Perez and Rodriguez attacking her after the match. Cue Asuka, Sane’s former Kabuki Warriors tag team partner. Shortly after Asuka helped Sane fight off the Judgment Day, the two were seen in Pearce’s office where it was announced the former two-time women’s tag team champions would represent Raw in the 4-way match this weekend.
