Ace Austin didn’t compete at Under Siege due to a supposed injury, but he didn’t take part in the tapings on Saturday, May 24. As reported by many media outlets, it seems like the “Inevitable” wrestler has exited TNA as his contract with the promotion has expired.
TNA did enter negotiations with Austin for a new deal, but the two sides did not come to terms. The split is said to be mutual and amicable. His final appearance for the promotion was the May 22 edition of iMPACT! where he faced Mustafa Ali.
As one of IMPACT Wrestling’s youngest stars at age 28, Ace Austin has proven to be nothing short of a prodigy. In less than a year with the company, Austin became the X-Division Champion, defeating four other competitors in a Ladder Match at IMPACT’s biggest event of 2019, Bound For Glory.

Austin swaggered into the next phase of his career with the utmost confidence that it was going to be “Ace’s up”. At Rebellion 2022, Austin became X-Division Champion for the third time in his career when he defeated Trey Miguel and Mike Bailey.
Austin took his career to the next level when he became a member of one of professional wrestling’s premier groups, Bullet Club, and captured the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles 3 times alongside Chris Bey. Together, they were ABC.
In March 2024, Ace Austin signed a contract extension, saying, “I’m very excited to be staying with TNA. I have more goals to fulfill and championships to win.” Sadly, he was by Bey’s side when he suffered a severe neck injury in a match last October and is someone Bey cited as a constant as he recovered to the point he could walk again.
Despite some TNA World Championship desire, Ace Austin has now left the company that helped him grow up as a wrestler. Ace Austin is now ready for the next episode, proving to the world he’s inevitably one of the best.
