“The Samoan Werewolf,” Jacob Fatu, makes his first indelible mark in the WWE at WWE WrestleMania 41. LA Knight put on a valiant effort in his United States Championship Title defense against the monster. That said, the “Megastar” didn’t have enough in the tank to overcome the behemoth that is Jacob Fatu.
With a mix of speed, agility, and raw, unadulterated power, Jacob Fatu would maul a defiant LA Knight. The contest was more than competitive enough. Unfortunately, that didn’t mean anything at the end of the day, as Jacob Fatu would hit three consecutive Double-Jump Moonsaults to finally put away LA Knight and claim the United States Title for himself at the “Showcase of the Immortals” WWE WrestleMania 41.
Jacob Fatu finally fulfilled his prophecy and nabbed gold to add to the illustrious list of Anoa’i Family members who have been champions in World Wrestling Entertainment, with his blood Haku congratulating him immediately after this win.
While some feel this is Jacob Fatu’s biggest achievement yet, winning the WWE Tag Team Titles last year with Tama Tonga was a close second; it’s surely the first in a long line of single titles that Jacob Fatu will achieve in WWE.
