Gail Kim, Others Announced as Part of TNA Wrestling Restructuring

TNA Wrestling has announced a wave of departures as part of a major restructuring effort, with Hall of Famer Gail Kim among the names making headlines. The shake-up comes amid ongoing changes within the company, sparking discussions about the future of TNA’s roster and leadership.

TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva issued a memo to Anthem staff on March 25 announcing the departure of eight members from the company, involving major changes in TNA leadership.

“Today, we announced a restructuring, resulting in staffing changes at TNA Wrestling. These decisions are always difficult, but it became apparent that we needed to make adjustments to our business strategies. We are grateful for those who worked here and thank them for their years of dedication to the company. Finally, we want our fans to know that we are committed to producing the absolute best product and highest-quality content that we can, and we appreciate their continued support.”

Rob Klingman (Chief Revenue Officer), Michael Shewchenko (Digital Department), Karen Clevett (Product Owner, who worked on TNA+), Romy Glazer (Marketing), and Sebastian Dastrani (live events end) will all be leaving the company. At the same time, Silva announced that the company will welcome a new Senior Vice President of Digital, David Clevinger, next month and that a new Senior Vice President of Sales, Nicole Rachine, started with the company this month.

The three last names have particularly been felt as a shock. Rafael Morfi, who had been consulting and working to build the company’s live business, had been involved in the company’s great success of late, including the big houses in El Paso.

Ariel Shnerer was Executive Producer of TNA and effectively Head of Creative. Shnerer had been with Anthem, TNA, and The Fight Network for many years. With his departure, Hunter “Delirious” Johnston will now head creative as Tommy Dreamer remains on the creative team as well. They will both now directly report to Silva.

Delirious was ROH’s Head of Creative until Tony Khan bought the company in 2022. He has been a TNA Creative, as a writer and producer, since 2023.

The most shocking is the departure of TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim, who worked behind the scenes in Talent Relations and Producing and is a TNA Original and Knockouts legend. With her exit, Tommy Dreamer will now be heading the Talent Relations end. She was very much loved and respected internally by the talents, often quoted as “the person to go to” when a talent needed advice or help.

Kim had been responsible for the Knockouts being given the chance to be taken seriously in the company, with new matches, main events, and opportunities offered to them. She is the one who “helped” make the new Knockouts of this generation, like Jordynne Grace, current Champion Masha Slamovich, Tasha Steelz, and many more.

The changes come just over a year after Scott D’Amore’s departure and two months after TNA and WWE announced a multi-year partnership. Both Shnerer and Kim were important parts of D’Amore’s “system.” A few weeks ago, TNA President Anthony Ciccone, Head of Marketing Christy Hemme, and Senior Producer Josh Mathews were fired due to a restructuring.
