If you carefully read my preview of TNA iMPACT!, you now know if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong. It’s now time to analyze what happened and what it means for tonight’s TNA Sacrifice, which you can read a full preview of here. The card was not only about the upcoming show but a major part of it was.
TNA iMPACT Review – Chaos Before Sacrifice
The Advantage
With all the kindness and respect I have for Leon Slater, I wasn’t expecting Team “Anti-System” to get the advantage at Sacrifice. Not because I was expecting The System to interfere, and it didn’t happen. Eddie Edwards knows the game more than anybody in TNA iMPACT. He is definitely one of the best wrestlers of his generation and a leader of this company. Slater is young and still has a lot to learn, so many matches to do. His future is shining bright. In my Nygma’s mind, an advantage for The System is not a disadvantage for the “Anti-System.” That would make their Sacrifice win more meaningful.

Mister TNA Santino Marella
DOO Santino Marella is just the megastar of iMPACT! Even if he is not wrestling anymore, he is funny and stealing the show. Announcing that Ash & Heather By Elegance will team with The Personal Concierge to challenge Spitfire for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles in a 3-on-2 match at Sacrifice is crazy and unexpected. Santino’s way…
Later, he came to reveal who Joe Hendry’s challenger was for the TNA World Title, but he was interrupted by Ryan Nemeth, who announced that he was taking his brother’s contractually-obligated rematch for the championship. 20 seconds after, Santino introduced Hendry’s true challenger for the evening, Alexander Hammerstone.
Every Santino’s appearance is a moment of fun. Look at him, even when he is not speaking, he is a true Milan Miracle.

The Ugly Summit
Tom Hannifan mediated a summit between Mustafa Ali and Mike Santana. Not only did Ali continue to resurface demons from Santana’s past but he mentioned Santana’s daughter. Santana also fell victim to the number’s game played by Ali and The Great Hands. Like I said previously, the alcohol demon is a disease that requires a life to heal. What Ali has been doing so far is not bad, but ugly. The Nygma may have a strange, Frenchy, raunchy tone, but she has values. Families and personal demons are not things that should be put on the table, in wrestling and in real life. Period.

The Bittersweet
Like said earlier, Hammerstone came back to compete against Joe Hendry. We all knew it was Hammerstone’s last match in TNA iMPACT, as he announced he parted ways with the company. It is bittersweet because I feel like Hammerstone had everything to build his career in TNA Wrestling. Injuries or not, Hammerstone deserved better and his departure on that bad note, losing a world title match, makes his departure even harder to swallow.

The Best of The Rest
- Wes Lee defeated Laredo Kid. After the match, The Rascalz and Ace Austin sent a bold message to their Sacrifice opponents.
- Xia Brookside defeated Rosemary by Disqualification. She seemed not to appreciate being misted in the face.
- In a nice campfire segment, Eric Young tried to convince Steve Maclin that he needs someone to watch his back.

- JDC strangled Cody Deaner’s eyes (thumb to the eyes in Nygma’s language) to get the win.
- Tessa Blanchard and NXT’s Cora Jade defeated TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich and Léi Yǐng Lee. For unknown reasons, as she didn’t even interfere in the match, Miss NXT Arianna Grace, and Santino Marella’s daughter, joined the commentary table.
- Despite the no-contact clause in place, Mance Warner and Steph De Lander confronted Sami Callihan ahead of their Street Fight at Sacrifice. They want a Barbed Wire Massacre?

The Exclusive
After Joe Hendry vs Hammerstone, The System and The Colóns stormed the ring for an attack of Hendry, but the odds were evened by the TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Hardys, Elijah and Leon Slater. The iMPACT! Zone erupted into chaos as the show went off the air. It even turned into mayhem. These guys need to be locked in a cage so we can finally have a match, and no more chaos.
