The Hardy Boyz successfully defended the TNA World Tag Team Championship at the WWE NXT Roadblock special. The experienced duo defended their gold against the NXT Tag Team Champions, Nathan Frazer & Axiom. This extends the veteran tag team’s run with the TNA World Tag Team Championship.
Hardy Boyz and Fraxiom at NXT Roadblock
The match between The Hardy Boyz and Fraxiom was a highly anticipated one, and it kicked off the NXT Roadblock special. It already pitted the two eras against each other, but the match produced more than that.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom put their chemistry and undeniable speed on full display in this match. This was ultimately trumped by the experience and seamless fluidity between The Hardy Boyz.
At the end, The Hardy Boyz were able to use Fraxiom’s momentum against the younger duo. This extends The Hardy Boyz’ third reign as the TNA World Tag Team Champions, and keeps that gold firmly within TNA’s grasp.
