This week’s WWE SmackDown will be a “must-watch.” Fresh of a shocking Elimination Chamber: Toronto PLE, the WWE Universe will deal with all the fallout from the event. If you don’t want to miss any of the action, here’s our WWE SmackDown preview for March 7th, 2025. Let’s run it down.
WWE SmackDown Preview & What to Expect (3/7/25):
- Jade Cargill Returns to WWE SmackDown
- Randy Orton Makes His Comeback to The Blue Brand
- Cody Rhodes Addresses the WWE Universe Regarding What Transpired at Elimination Chamber: Toronto
Slithering Back In
After taking one of the most devastating Piledrivers seen in WWE History, Randy Orton made his triumphant return last Saturday night. Orton was a man on a mission, making a beeline for Kevin Owens after the “Prized Fighter” threatened to do the same to Sami Zayn after their Unsanctioned Match.
Randy Orton has tapped into the darkest depths of his mind, considering what he almost did in Toronto. This Friday, “The Viper” speaks, and there’s no question he’ll talk about what he’s planning to do to Owens.
Facing the Nightmare
Cody Rhodes walked into Toronto expecting to stick the metaphorical finger to The Rock, fully knowing that there’s no way he would ever team up with the man who almost cost him his storybook-ending at last year’s WrestleMania. While he did do exactly that, The Rock had the biggest play he could ever raise by convincing John Cena to sell his soul.
After a brutal beatdown that not only broke his body but also his heart, Cody Rhodes is back, less than one week later after the vicious assault, to talk to the WWE Universe and potentially make his thoughts known regarding the partnership between The Rock and his number one contender at WrestleMania 41, John Cena.
What does the Undisputed WWE Champion have to say?
