Sports. Honestly. Since 2011

The Rock Secures His Corporate WWE Champion; It’s Not Cody Rhodes

The Rock finally got his wish at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. Two weeks prior, The “Final Boss” made Cody Rhodes an offer he couldn’t refuse. But in Toronto, he did. Cody Rhodes stated that he sold his sold a long time ago, that he wanted everything and got it. Cody Rhodes did sell it, but it was to the WWE Universe and the mat he stood on. In one of the most shocking twists of fate in WWE History, John Cena made a deal with the devil, attacking his WrestleMania 41 main event opponent.

As the commentary team put it so perfectly, The Rock always has a trick up his sleeve, and it’s quite possibly the biggest ace card he could ever have. John Cena would make it known that he’s desperate for that 17th championship, and he’s willing to be The Rock’s right-hand man, giving Cody Rhodes a low blow.

Cena would brutalize Rhodes, even giving him a stiff shot with some Brass Knuckles, harkening back to his old days as the villainous “Dr. of Thuganomics.” Once it was all settled, Rhodes would be left bloodied, beaten, and heartbroken to end WWE Elimination Chamber 2025. When we say no one expected it, we mean no one expected this.

The road to WrestleMania 41 will be an amazing one, probably the best we’ve ever seen. Buckle up, WWE Universe. John Cena and “The Final Boss”, The Rock, are taking over.

What did you think of John Cena and The Rock forging alliances at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025? How will WrestleMania 41 shape out?
