What’s Left on the Road to WWE WrestleMania 41

It’s officially the best time of year for professional wrestling fans. We are finally on the road to WWE WrestleMania 41.

The season started at the Royal Rumble 2025 as they crowned Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair as the Royal Rumble winners, paving their road to a championship match at WrestleMania.

It will be full steam in WrestleMania preparation between matches, storylines, and surprises. A lot will happen, so what can we expect to see leading up to the weekend of WrestleMania 41?

WWE Elimination Chamber

With WrestleMania 41 not taking place until April 19 and 20, WWE has plenty of time to build rivalries to feature on its grand stage. It is an exhilarating time to be a fan of the company, as WWE has many possible rivalry directions.

The unpredictable nature keeps everyone seething to know what will happen next. Having Jey Uso win the Royal Rumble was unexpected for fans but a pleasant surprise.

The only WWE PLE before WrestleMania is Elimination Chamber on March 1st. Both the men’s and women’s elimination chamber matches have their competitors declared.

The men’s match will be John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Logan Paul vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins. The women’s match will be Liv Morgan vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bianca Belair vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Bayley vs. Naomi.

Whoever wins each match will likely earn a chance at a championship match at WrestleMania. With Gunther and Tiffany Stratton facing the winners of the Royal Rumble, the winners of the Elimination Chamber match will most likely be challenging Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes.

Any of these competitors could put on a WrestleMania-worthy match against the champions, so it will be interesting to see who walks out from the chamber last.

WWE WrestleMania 41 Feuds

With WrestleMania now being a two-night event, there will be double the matches. The only confirmed WrestleMania matches are the championship matches that resulted from the Royal Rumble.

Almost everything in WWE involves creating a WrestleMania story. The best stories take time to develop and are not born overnight.

Stories are brewing between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk, and they all have a deep history with one another. They are a few of many to keep an eye on. At the same time, Drew McIntyre and Damien Priest may have a story brewing. There are many speculations about John Cena’s final WrestleMania opponent, and more may be revealed as we approach his final elimination chamber match.

Who do you think will be having a match at the grandest stage of them all? Who do you think the remaining current champions will defend against?

What to Expect

While the stories and matches are mostly anticipated on the road to WrestleMania, there is more to look forward to.

WWE has already announced the induction of Triple H and Michelle McCool into the Hall of Fame. As we approach the Hall of Fame ceremony, we can expect more inductions between now and the week of WrestleMania. Hopefully, we will see more of these legends appear before the ceremony to reminisce on some unforgettable moments in the company.

Speaking of legends, as I had previously mentioned, this is John Cena’s final WrestleMania. Undoubtedly, this last WrestleMania match will go out with a bang because no one wants to see anything less. With that in mind, there have been speculations about the possible returns of Randy Orton and The Rock.

Last year, at WrestleMania 40, we saw a brief face-off between Cena and The Rock, giving flashbacks to their WrestleMania 30 match. Will we see them two face each other for one last time? Fans have been waiting for different returns, such as Jade Cargill, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and others, who may also appear between now and WrestleMania.

Even though NXT isn’t involved in WrestleMania Day, it doesn’t take away from the fact that they are a big part of the WrestleMania season. The NXT Takeovers during WrestleMania week are arguably some of the best matches they hold.

And there is a good chance we may see a few NXT stars appear on the main roster, such as the RAW or Smackdown after WrestleMania 41.

NXT Stand and Deliver 2025 will warm us up for the WrestleMania action as it will be on the same day as WrestleMania Night 1 at 2 pm.

Buckle up and get ready because it is a fast and thrilling ride on the Road to WrestleMania!
