This week’s episode of WWE NXT continues the road to the Vengeance Day PLE. This show will also be the immediate aftermath of TNA Genesis, which featured some NXT talent.
For this show, two matches have been confirmed but it can be expected that it will only get more stacked. Here is all you need to know ahead of the January 21 NXT.
WWE NXT Full Card:
- NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Eddy Thorpe
- NXT North American Championship Match: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Ridge Holland
Oba Femi Defends NXT Championship Against Eddy Thorpe
Oba Femi’s reign with the NXT Championship is already off to a challenging start. On the January 21 edition of NXT, Femi will be defending the title against a determined Eddy Thorpe, who also believes he deserves that gold.
Whilst these two have to find a way to defeat each other, the looming threat of a returning Trick Williams is one they should not forget. Regardless, Femi will not be willing to let his reign end easily but Thorpe might have him figured.

Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland Finally Clash
Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland have been feuding for a while now. With D’Angelo now holding the NXT North American Championship, the title finds itself in the middle of this feud.
It can be expected that this will be a hard-hitting affair, as D’Angelo and Holland really do not like each other. The question is: Who will do enough to walk away with bragging rights and the title?
After their intense brawl in the parking lot last week, @TonyDangeloWWE and @RidgeWWE will battle it out for the North American Championship THIS TUESDAY on #WWENXT!
