The final first-round match from the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and two grudge matches happen on this week’s WWE Raw Holiday Special.
This show was taped last week at the TD Garden in Boston, MA. We can expect a main event to be added during the show but that’s all we’ll say on this spoiler-free preview.

Match Card WWE Raw (12/23/24)
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Alba Fyre vs. Natalya vs. Kairi Sane
- Chad Gable vs. Akira Tozawa
- The Miz vs. Dexter Lumis
Match Card: Subject To Change
Alba Fyre and Natalya are set to share the ring with Kairi Sane in a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match. But a backstage assault on Sane, last week, makes the chances of her making it as likely as Kevin Owens getting coal from Santa this year.
Sonya Deville has claimed responsibility for the attack and believes she should be placed into the match. That’ll be coal for her too then.

Thought WWE had forgotten that we never got the payoff match between Otis and Chad Gable? Think again. Gable is furious at the Alpha Academy recruitment video Otis, Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri put out recently.
Gable has vowed to make each Alpha Academy member pay individually. He starts with Tozawa.
The Miz was happy to just forgive and forget about The Wyatt Sicks kidnapping him. But Karrion Kross and The Final Testament still feel he’s indebted to them.
Firstly, because Paul Ellering took a bullet for him during a Wyatt Sicks and The Final Testament brawl. Secondly, Ellering returned a few weeks later and launched powder into Uncle Howdy’s face to allow The Miz and The Final Testament to beat The Wyatt Sicks.
So, The Miz is being forced to face Dexter Lumis one-on-one.
Anything Else For WWE Raw Holiday Special?
Seth Rollins and CM Punk may continue to work towards their match when WWE Raw premieres on Netflix. Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley will also compete on WWE Raw on Netflix on January 6, 2025.
This means there’s little main-event talent available to top WWE Raw, this week.
Drew McIntyre will probably look for revenge on Sami Zayn who attacked him last week.
Finally, The New Day might demand a shot at the new World Tag Team Champions if they are allowed in the building.
Gunther will enjoy his last few weeks on WWE Raw without being irritated by Logan Paul. Paul arrives on WWE Raw on Netflix and wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
