What’s Next For Logan Paul After WWE King & Queen of The Ring Loss?

Logan Paul at WWE King and Queen of the Ring

Yet another WWE PLE has passed, and Logan Paul has not had to defend his WWE United States Championship. In fact, since winning the belt in November 2023 at WWE Crown Jewel, Paul has only put the title on the line twice.

Since the ‘Maverick’ of WWE defeated Rey Mysterio at the tail end of 2023, he has kept a tight grip on his belt, despite the best efforts of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. Although he’s put on some outstanding matches, his apparent disdain for defending his title has left some WWE fans clamoring for a change.

Whose Game Is It?

Ever since Paul captured the title, rumors have run rampant that he would clash with LA Knight eventually, with many hoping that the two would face off at WWE WrestleMania 40

On the May 17th episode of WWE SmackDown, a simple staredown seemed to sow the seeds for a potential feud between the “Social Media Megastar” and the aforementioned Knight.

With the announcement that WWE SummerSlam will be emanating from Cleveland, Ohio, the stage seems to be set for Logan Paul to have an unfortunate return to his hometown. In fact, this writer tried to speak this into existence in the immediate fallout of WWE WrestleMania 40.

Maverick vs. Megastar

LA Knight would be the perfect babyface opponent for Paul to finally be defeated by, as his popularity is on par, if not greater than, that of the United States Champion. After his victory in the Slim Jim Battle Royal last year, this would be a huge step up for Knight.

WWE fans were given a taste of how Knight and Paul might bounce off one another in the build-up to WWE Money in the Bank 2023, with the pair exchanging entertaining verbal blows.

Giving LA Knight the belt would be a huge statement of Triple H’s backing and faith in Knight, while also putting him in a prominent position on weekly TV. It’s undeniably his time, so Logan Paul will have to keep his wits about him over the next few weeks.

Expect to see the two have more interaction on TV, with an eventual showdown at the “biggest party of the summer” making the most sense. Hopefully, there will be a new United States Champion on August 3rd 2024, with everybody sayin’…
