Out to Get Even

Double or Nothing did not pan out like how Chris Jericho planned. Last Sunday, we saw a brutal Unsanctioned Match between “The Ocho” and Adam Cole. It was violence at its finest, which is fitting since the match had hardcore wrestling legend Sabu as its enforcer. The affair was tense throughout, with both competitors throwing everything at each other.

Things took a turn for the worse when a chain was introduced into the mix. Cole used the weapon to its fullest, continuously battering the leader of the Jericho Appreciation Society until there was no choice but to call the match because Jericho could not defend himself.

After the affair, Jericho, with Saraya who also got her fair share of violence courtesy of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. with a kendo stick, took to social media and demanded this tag team match for Wednesday night’s Dynamite. Ask and you shall receive, AEW officials quickly made the match official. It will be Chris Jericho & Saraya versus the team of Adam Cole and Britt Baker!

The war between Cole and Jericho just got bigger, and it looks like this match is another chapter to a rivalry that will persist for the foreseeable future. Will Jericho and Saraya get their revenge or will Cole and Baker simply provide a replay of the events from Sunday for this Wednesday’s Dynamite crowd?
