IMPACT Wrestling has a new Director of Authority. Santino Marella made his way to the IMPACT Zone at Center Stage in Atlanta during the Hard to Kill pay-per-view.

Marella did not take long to use his newly appointed power. His appearance in the IMPACT Zone came after Moose won the Digital Media Championship from Joe Hendry with a low blow. Marella refused to let the title change under such controversial circumstances. He re-started the match immediately and Joe Hendry was able to retain the Digital Media Championship.
A new authority figure was needed in IMPACT Wrestling following IMPACT on AXS TV from a couple of weeks ago. Scott D’amore who has served as an on-screen authority figure in addition to his backstage roles was taken out by Bully Ray. Gail Kim announced on this week’s episode of IMPACT on AXS TV that a new authority figure would be revealed at Hard to Kill.
Santino Marella’s last appearance in IMPACT was under his real name Anthony Carelli as a commentator at Sacrifice in March of 2022.
