Knockouts Number One Contenders Match

While all eyes will be on the title versus career match, the winner of that match will not have to wait long to see who their challenger will be. Masha Slamovich, Deonna Purrazzo, Taylor Wilde, and Killer Kelly will duke it out with a future shot at the winner of Jordynne Grace and Mickie James on the line. Slamovich would love nothing more than another shot at the title after two unsuccessful attempts at Jordynne Grace. Purrazzo is always a threat in the Knockouts division and Wilde has shown a darker aggressive side of her personality that should have all three other competitors concerned. Killer Kelly will also be in action for the first time since November, making her a bit of a wild card in the match.

All four Knockouts are more than capable of winning this match and becoming champion.  The competitors have plenty of footage to watch on Masha and Deonna but this new attitude from Taylor Wilde has not been in IMPACT very long. Kelly has also been out of an IMPACT ring for a couple of months now making recent footage of her hard to get. Masha is always lethal but has had trouble in big matches as of late. Anyone of these four could have their hand raised at the end of the match. Find out who does at Hard to Kill 2023.

Prediction – Killer Kelly wins

Title Versus Career

The “Last Rodeo” continues for Mickie James. Since the back half of last year James has made every match a must-win. She has promised that the next match she loses will be her last match. James has put together an impressive winning streak, cementing her place as the number one contender. She faces an incredible challenge in Jordynne Grace.

Grace has held the belt since Slammiversary 2022 and has successfully defended it against Tasha Steelz, Deonna Purrazzo, Rachael Ellering, and Masha Slamovich among others. Grace will bring her strength and agility to the ring to take on the veteran ability of James. The stakes could not be higher for both Knockouts at Hard to Kill. It is the career of James against the Knockouts Championship of Grace. Only one hand will be raised at the end of the match at Hard to Kill 2023.

Prediction – James wins

Hard to Kill 2023: Alexander vs. Ray

A Personal Main Event

At Bound for Glory, Josh Alexander retained his IMPACT World Championship against Eddie Edwards. After the match, he was surrounded by Honor No More in what looked like a bad spot for Alexander. Bully Ray who had won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet earlier made his way to the ring. Bully had spent weeks trying to convince Alexander that he could trust him. For a moment it looked like Ray was going to make true to that promise. However, Bully attacked Alexander and his wife in front of their child. Bully promised to cash in his trophy at Hard to Kill and take the title from Alexander.

Things got even more personal after Bully attacked long-time friend Tommy Dreamer with chairs and ladders. After that attack, Alexander demanded Scott D’amore make the match a Full Metal Mayhem match. These two will use anything that is not nailed down to attack each other. Josh Alexander has had a historic reign as IMPACT World Champion. He will have to dig down deep to walk out of Atlanta as the IMPACT World Champion.

Prediction – Alexander retains
