Preview: AEW Rampage Card Tonight (12/30/22) -New Year’s Smash

The AEW Rampage card tonight is a New Year’s Smash special that looks to continue the momentum from this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. There are two different championship matches on the card for the December 30 airing as well as the promise of an appearance from Jon Moxley.

  • TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs Kiera Hogan
  • We hear from Jamie Hayter
  • We hear Jon Moxley
  • Swerve Strickland vs Wheeler Yuta
  • Tony Schiavone interview with Sting & Darby Allin
  • We hear from Jeff Jarrett and co.
  • All Atlantic Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs Trent Beretta

TBS Championship

Jade Cargill aims to make another defense of her championship when former Baddie Kiera Hogan gets a singles match with her former leader. Cargill dumped Hogan aside without remorse and it may come back to bite her as the fiery Hogan aims to get some retribution.

 Jon Moxley Responds

Hangman Page may be medically cleared soon. How will his current rival Jon Moxley respond as the two get ever closer to a match?

Swerve Strickland vs Wheeler Yuta

The Mogul Affiliates (Strickland, Parker & Granden Goetzman) and their methods didn’t sit well with Wheeler Yuta. Yuta made that known on AEW Dynamite and looks certain to earn himself a beating for his defiance.
