Following the two-month-long 5STAR Grand Prix and the beginning of the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League, STARDOM’s PPV schedule will be returning to a sense of normalcy on November 3. At last year’s Yokohama Dream Cinderella In Summer event, Natsuko Tora got her first-ever shot at the World of Stardom Championship against the reigning champion, Utami Hayashishita. Unfortunately for Oedo Tai’s leader, disaster struck just eleven minutes into the match, as she tore her ACL as she exited the ring to attack Utami. Utami promised that she would hold on to the Red Belt until her fallen foe could challenge her once again at some point in the future.

Fast forward 16 months and Utami has long been without the World of Stardom Championship. After losing the title to Syuri in December, Utami suffered a bit of a lull in 2022 compared to her strong showings in each of her previous in-ring years. Then, right at the tail-end of the 5STAR Grand Prix, Natsuko Tora made it known that she would be returning to in-ring action, and her first target was none other than Utami, who she believes lied to her about meeting again for the Red Belt.

Natsuko’s first singles match in over a year is set for November 3 at the STARDOM Hiroshima Goddess Festival, and a new bag of tricks could spell disaster for her enemy that couldn’t keep her word.

Mayu Meets The Alpha Female Once Again

Mayu Iwatani will share the ring with Alpha Female in an SWA Championship Match at the STARDOM Hiroshima Goddess Festival for the first time in over six years. While the two have never met before in singles action, their previous encounters in tag team matches have gone overwhelmingly in Alpha Female’s favor. However, KAIRI recently proved that a losing record against AF in the past does not indicate current results, with her recent singles victory over the German star leading to her and Mayu’s impending clash at Historic X-Over on November 23rd.

Mayu’s match against Alpha Female at STARDOM’s Hiroshima Goddess Festival will be her third defense of the SWA Title, a belt she won from Thekla last May. While The Icon is likely focused on her upcoming match against KAIRI, the title that completed her STARDOM Grand Slam seemingly remains her top priority. Can STARDOM’s Forever Ace overcome the imposing giant in Hiroshima?

Black Desire’s Tag Title Aspirations Resume

As the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League continues to heat up, two of its premier teams will vie for the right to be the faces of the division on November 3. After being forbidden to challenge for the Goddesses of Stardom Champions for the duration of FWC’s title reign, Starlight Kid and Momo Watanabe are in the hunt for their second reign with the straps. Meanwhile, Natsupoi and Tam Nakano, together known as Meltear, are enjoying their first reign as champions, already picking up a successful defense against MIRAI and Ami Sohrei in September. Will Meltear persevere and continue the tag league as the #1 seed, or will Oedo Tai’s top duo flip the tournament on its head in Hiroshima?

In the final two matches of the Hiroshima Goddess Festival, both the Wonder of Stardom and World of Stardom Championships will be defended as Saya Kamitani and Syuri attempt to vindicate their 5STAR tournament losses on November 3rd. Firstly, Kamitani will be making her tenth defense of the White Belt against the rejuvenated Mina Shirakawa, who last challenged for the title last November. Since then, the Cosmic Angel has made impressive additions to her repertoire, with her technical ability becoming a big story coming out of the 5STAR GP. Mina’s match against Kamitani was perhaps her biggest match all summer, and she hopes she can ignite the Shirakawa Revolution with her first major championship win in the company.

The main event of the show will see Maika make her third challenge for the Red Belt, this time against her former tag-team partner, Syuri. After Maika’s win over the World of Stardom Champion in the tournament, the DDM stalwart recognizes that Syuri is a whole nother animal when a championship is up for grabs. Despite this, Maika plans on finally overcoming her struggle at long-term success as a singles competitor. However, as the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League continues to heat up with Maika and Himeka as heavy favorites, will Maika’s dreams of becoming STARDOM’s Emperor be delayed once again?
