After months of anticipation, AAA celebrates its anniversary with the huge Triplemania XXX card that will see one of Pentagon Jr. or Villano IV lose their mask, while Rey Fenix takes on Hijo Del Vikingo in a match for the AAA Mega Championship. AAA Tag Team Championship Contenders Match
Four teams will do battle in a match that is sure to dazzle. FTR are the current AAA tag team champions and while they aren’t on the show they will find out who their next challengers are. The team of Dragon Lee and Dralistico likely comes into this one as the favorite. Either way, keep eyes on this one to possibly steal the show.
Vikingo vs Fenix
In what many would describe as a dream match two of the most innovative luchadors of the past generation will collide for the AAA Mega Championship. Fenix holds the other two singles titles in AAA so a win would make him a triple champion, in fact, he won those titles in a match that also involved Vikingo at Triplemania: Tijuana.
It’s ultimately a coin toss to see who will come out on top in this one as either man could win realistically.
Mask vs Mask
Pentagon Jr. and Villano IV will put their iconic masks on the line in the headline bout at Triplemania XXX. Villano IV is a legend in the world of lucha libre and has won numerous Luchas de Apuestas matches over his career.
While normally you’d tip your hand to the legend in this scenario we think Pentagon is safe. This Triplemania is a big one for AAA, it’s a celebration of their 30-year anniversary. What better way to make a statement on such a show then by unmasking a name like Villano IV.

Triplemania XXX starts at 8pm CDT. This means that fans living in the eastern time zone in America will have a 9pm start time. For fans in the UK that unfortunately means the show will begin at 2am on Saturday night/early Sunday morning.
