#AndNEW: Orange Cassidy Wins All-Atlantic Championship

Orange Cassidy AEW

We have a new AEW All-Atlantic Champion. AEW broadcasted live from Canada for the first time and had a newsworthy main event. Orange Cassidy defeated PAC to become the new AEW All-Atlantic Champion.

Orange Cassidy is the New AEW All-Atlantic Champion

PAC and Orange Cassidy had their first match at Revolution 2020 where Cassidy surprised PAC with his in-ring ability. PAC has had his eyes on Orange Cassidy and his Best Friends teammates. PAC has been using underhanded tactics to pick up wins as of late. Most notably, he has been using the hammer for the ring bell as a weapon to pick up wins in both singles and tag competitions with his Death Triangle teammates.

This is the first title in All Elite Wrestling for Orange Cassidy. He celebrated the title win with his Best Friends teammates Chuck Taylor and Trent Berreta. The match ended with hard-hitting maneuvers from both competitors. In the end, Cassidy was the one who had his hand raised, becoming the second champion in the history of the belt.

PAC won the title in a fatal four-way match at Forbidden Door in June of this year becoming the inaugural champion.

AEW’s first time in Toronto was newsworthy as Renee Paquette is #AllElite and we saw the return of Shawn Spears.
