Renee Paquette

Renee Paquette is #AllElite. The announcement was made by AEW General Manager Tony Khan on Twitter just before tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.

Renee Paquette Joins All Elite Wrestling

AEW makes their Canada debut tonight live tonight from Toronto. Toronto is also the hometown of Paquette. The tweet from Khan did not confirm what her exact role will be within the company, but it is safe to assume we will see Paquette as either a commentator, backstage interviewer, or both.

Paquette was known as Renee Young during her time in WWE. She was a part of WWE from 2012-2020 where she worked in various roles. From backstage commentator to a commentator on NXT and Monday Night Raw, to pre-show panel host Paquette has seen every side of the commentary role. Paquette also worked as a co-host on the sixth season of Tough Enough, sharing the role with now-AEW roster-mate Chris Jericho.

Her last role in WWE saw Paquette being part of the Fox Sports 1 show WWE Backstage. After leaving WWE Paquette started her own podcast “Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette” She also has her own YouTube channel which accompanies the podcast. Paquette also hosts a show on Sirus XM with Meisha Tate entitled “Throwing Down with Renee and Miesha”.
