Preview: WWE — Extreme Rules (10/8/22)

Bianca Belair vs Bayley | Extreme Rules 2022

WWE has reached the extreme part of their Premium Live Event calendar as it is that time of year for Extreme Rules. This Saturday, WWE will see some of their most talented competitors enter situations that are unique to them, including the first-ever Fight Pit on the main roster, a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match, and a signature Ladder Match to likely end the night. While build for both Crown Jewel and Survivor Series: War Games have already kicked into gear, this could be one of the better ones of WWE in 2022. Here’s a look at WWE Extreme Rules.

WWE Extreme Rules 2022 Card:

– Edge vs. Finn Balor in an I Quit Match
– The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland & Butch) vs. Imperium (GUNTHER, Ludwig Keiser & Giovanni Vinci) in a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match
– Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross in a Strap Match
– Matt Riddle vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins inside the Fight Pit with special guest referee Daniel Cormier
– SmackDown Women’s Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey in an Extreme Rules Match
– Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley in a Ladder Match

Can Damage CTRL Officially Take Over Monday Nights at Extreme Rules?

Bayley walked back into WWE at SummerSlam and made sure to put Bianca Belair on notice when she introduced IYO SKY and Dakota Kai as her new stable, Damage CTRL. Since then, the group has done their best to run Monday Night Raw with Kai and SKY winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship but they cannot be on top until Bayley has the Raw Women’s Championship. At Extreme Rules, she will get her shot as Belair puts the gold on the line in a Ladder Match. There’s no guarantee as to what will be main eventing this show but they have been the top rivalry and story on Monday nights, making this a must to go on last. Adding ladders to the equation could mean both Damage CTRL and Belair’s friends Alexa Bliss and Asuka could get involved.

Belair has been a great champion but it’s time for Damage CTRL to take over Monday nights once and for all.

Prediction: Bayley
