Candice LeRae Makes WWE Return on Monday Night Raw

Candice LeRae enters Royal Rumble

WWE fans were given a treat on Raw this week as Candice LeRae returned to the ring for the first time since having her baby in February. As most know, she and husband Johnny Gargano, have been out of action to take care of baby Quill and had not given much information about what their wrestling futures held. That is until Gargano returned a few weeks back and surprised the wrestling world.

Candice LeRae Returns to WWE

Fast forward to this week’s episode of Raw and Candice had a very similar surprise for us all. Nikki A.S.H. was already in the ring awaiting her opponent to come to the ring. It was an unannounced match so viewers were in the dark about who would be coming out of the curtain. The Poison Pixie’s music hit, and she walked out to a huge pop from the fans in attendance. That pop was even louder when she won the match.

While LeRae made a name for herself on the independent circuit, much like Gargano did, she really broke out to a world wide audience when she signed with WWE and became a mainstay on NXT. Most recently, she was a part of a stable known as “The Way” which interestingly enough, Raw now is home to four out of five members (Gargano, LeRae, Dexter Lumis and Austin Theory). Is this the perfect opportunity to call up Indi Hartwell to Raw and start to reform “The Way”?

No matter what is next in store for LeRae, it is great to see her back on TV and was a nice unexpected surprise on a Monday night. What do you think? Should “The Way” get back together or should everyone go their own direction and do their own thing?
