AEW Rampage Spoilers & Results (9/16/22) – ROH TV Title Defense

Following on from AEW Dynamite there are a number of exciting matches on hand for AEW Rampage. This edition of Rampage is sort of out of place heading into Dynamite Grand Slam but there’s an effort at least. Here are the AEW Rampage spoilers from the September 16 show for those who just can’t wait to see what goes down.

AEW Rampage Spoilers for September 16, 2022

Darby Allin vs Matt Hardy

Darby Allin defeated Matt Hardy. Following the match the lights went out to reveal Brody King and Julia Hart. After King hit a lariat on Hardy he cut a promo that mentioned Malakai Black’s absence but promised that House of Black still has venom. King challenged Sting and Allin to a No DQ match for Dynamite Grand Slam which was accepted.

Claudio Castagnoli Promo

After Castagnoli spoke of his desire to win the ROH Pure Championship Chris Jericho, who was on commentary, spoke about how he has never been ROH World Champion. Jericho said he wants world title number eight and challenged Castagnoli to a match on Dynamite which was accepted.

Jade Cargill Promo

Cargill spoke about having no competition in her division. Diamante challenged her to a match next week and mentioned that she won’t be coming alone.

Willow Nightingale vs Penelope Ford

Penelope Ford defeated Willow Nightingale

Dangausen vs Ethan Page

Ethan Page defeated Danhausen

ROH TV Championship – Samoa Joe (c) vs Josh Woods

Samoa Joe defeated Josh Woods to retain the ROH TV Championship. Tony Nese attacked after the match which drew out Wardlow for the save. Joe and Wardlow challenged Nese and Woods to a match at Grand Slam.
