#AndNEW: Briscoes Reclaim GCW Tag Team Championships

The Briscoe Brothers are the new GCW Tag Team Champions. They defeated Matthew Justice and Mance Warner as well as Nick Gage and Slade. Thie match took place on Night 1 of Joey Janela’s Spring Break as part of The Collective.

The Briscoe Brothers Regain GCW Tag Team Championships

The Briscoe Brothers are GCW Tag Team Champions for the second time in their careers. This triple threat match saw the last three GCW Tag Team Champions in action. The Briscoe Brothers took the titles from The Second Gear Crew who issued an open challenge to any tag team that was answered by The Briscoes. The Briscoes defended the titles at World on GCW where they lost to the team of Matt Tremont and Nick Gage (The H8 Club) in the main event. Tremont was scheduled to be on Gage’s team tonight, but could not appear due to unforeseen circumstances.

Gage went into the match solo but was surprisingly joined by Slade part of the way through the match. Slade entered the ring and gave Gage a pizza cutter, which has become synonymous with Gage. The duo used the pizza cutter on Mance Warner to inflict damage in what was a match full of weapons. We saw the pizza cutter, chairs, and doors used by the teams to inflict damage on their opponents. This was the first of multiple title matches scheduled for Spring Break Part 1. We will also see the GCW World Championship and Ultraviolent Championship be defended tonight.
