Miyu Amasaki Joins Queen’s Quest

Saya Kamitani

Miyu Amasaki made her Stardom debut at New Blood 1 against Utami Hayashishita. Stardom’s first trainee to debut since late 2020 had a lot of pressure on her shoulders as she was put in the main event of the show against a former world champion. Amasaki had an impressive showing in the match and afterwards was invited to join Queen’s Quest.

Some fans had speculated that Amasaki would be joining Queen’s Quest as the faction has a number of upcoming matches that involved a mystery team member, specifically their Tug of War gauntlet with Oedo Tai, and Amasaki wasn’t featured elsewhere on the cards.  Miyu is being thrown in at the deep end as she goes right from this New Blood 1 match to the faction war against Oedo Tai and is in tag team action with High Speed Champion AZM at Korkauen Hall.

Amasaki was impressive in her debut and showed a lot of skill despite losing to Hayashishita. She will have time to learn the ropes as a member of QQ as it currently houses two champions and Hayashishita who can spearhead the group while Amasaki grows in the background alongside Lady C and the soon-to-return Hina.

Queen’s Quest has long claimed to be the Future of Stardom and currently, it is home to a number of the best homegrown talents the company has produced in recent years.
