Bryan Danielson Named ROH Hall of Fame Inductee

Danielson ROH Hall of Fame

“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson will be inducted into the Ring of Honor (ROH) Hall of Fame. He is the second person named for the inaugural class and will be inducted alongside The Briscoe Brothers and more to be announced Ring of Honor wrestlers.

Bryan Danielson Headed to ROH Hall of Fame

Like his fellow Hall of Fame inductees the Briscoe’s, Danielson competed on the first ROH event The Era of Honor Begins. He was defeated by Low Ki in a three-way match that also included Christopher Daniels. Danielson also main evented the first ROH pay-per-view, Respect is Earned in 2007. He teamed with Takeshi Morishima to defeat Nigel McGuinness and Kenta.

Danielson has a long and storied history with ROH that certainly warrants a Hall of Fame induction. He held the ROH World Title for 462 days which is the third-longest reign in the history of ROH. He also unified the title with the ROH Pure Title after defeating Nigel McGuinness. Danielson was also the inaugural winner of the Survival of the Fittest tournament.

Danielson is known for his technical wrestling ability and his contributions to Ring of Honor helped launch the promotion to new heights. It is fitting he be part of the first Hall of Fame class. A television special featuring all inductees will air the weekend of March 5th.
