Softening Up The Competition

Jungle Boy scored an impressive victory against a very game opponent in Anthony Bowens on the latest edition of AEW DynamiteThe Acclaimed were constantly doing some questionable things in order to get the advantage over Jungle Boy all throughout the match. Anthony’s tag team partner Max Caster badly wanted his running mate to pull off the upset. But, even with all the shenanigans, it was not to be. As Jungle Boy once again rose to the occasion and came out of the match with his hand raised. Almost immediately after the match, Bobby Fish would put the beatdown on Jungle Boy before Christian Cage and Luchasaurus entered the fray to stop the attack.

Fans would later know the specific reason why Fish did what he did. It was to help out a dear old friend Adam Cole. Adam vouched for Bobby and told The Young Bucks he could definitely put the hurting on Jungle Boy ahead of their Trios Match this Saturday night at Full Gear. The Superkliq expectedly jumped at the chance to unleash a dangerous man like Fish after Jungle Boy. Cole instructed, “The Infamous One” to at least leave a little for them to finish off in the upcoming battle.

Knowing the tenacity and resiliency Jungle Boy has, he will definitely have his A-Game on display, not only this Saturday night but on Friday’s night Rampage as well. Will Jungle Boy overcome all the odds like he usually does? Or will Bobby Fish give the undisputed advantage in favor of the Superkliq?

Ariya Daivari AEW Debut

Announced just today by Tony Khan, former WWE Superstar Ariya Daivari will make his AEW debut when he tasks on Dante Martin. Khan coined it a clash of hometown heroes so it will be interesting to see if 15-year veteran Daivari is brought back or if this is a one-off move.  Daivari is just coming off of a 5-year stint with the WWE after spending his entire career on the independent circuit wrestling for companies like F1rst WrestlingCanadian Wrestling Elite, and other local groups.

Nowhere To Run, Nowhere To Hide

Matt Hardy is indeed one of AEW’s greatest opportunists. After the match between Wardlow and Wheeler Yuta, wherein “Mr. Mayhem” steamrolled over Yuta, Hardy would strike. While Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy tended to their battered friend, Matt and the HFO hit the ring and clean house. Taylor and Yuta were down and were in no condition to aid their brother. Leaving Cassidy to fend for himself against the wolves. Matt Hardy put on a violent display as he trapped Orange’s head between a chair and delivered the Twist Of Fate.

These two have been at each other’s throats for months now. It has been violent, bloody, and, above all else personal. Tony Khan sanctioned this Lumberjack Match to make sure this rivalry ends with a clear winner. Keeping both men in and keeping everyone out for these two to settle it among themselves. We may have finally reached the climax of this very vicious feud. And, it all culminates this Friday night on an exciting edition of AEW Rampage.
