NCW New England Championship Match: Mike Montero (c) vs “Riot” Kellan Thomas

This match has been building for a while and “Riot” Kellan Thomas has been picking up victories within NCW. In this match it’s really quite simple: Mike Montero has to prove that he is everything he says that he is or else there will be a new New England Champion. Either way, this match will be full of some of the best wrestling you will see from a technical standpoint and is a cannot miss.

Body Bag Match: CPA vs Tim Lennox

Tim Lennox is crazy and CPA isn’t afraid to die. When you put those two qualities together, it makes for a hell of a hardcore match that will only end one way. One of these two are going into a body bag. Tim Lennox better have paid his taxes and CPA better have has updated his will. This one will get out of control in a hurry.

Good Housekeeping Match: Isana vs Jessie Nolan

Isana and Jessie Nolan are two of the best wrestlers out there today. Putting them in a match against each other is just an opportunity to create something special. Now, they face off in a Good Housekeeping Match. This means that weapons are not just legal but encouraged. This will guarantee that the match is that much more explosive and more violent. On a show where every match feels like it could main event for its own reasons, this match is certain to stand out and leave people at the end of the night as fans of both wrestlers. This match is about the best of the best colliding.

The Entourage Open Challenge for Paris Van Dale and Gal Barkay

Armani Kayos has decided that both Paris Van Dale and Gal Barkay need to prove themselves to some extent. So they must issue this open challenge at WrestleFest XVI. The sheer amount of wrestling talent available in the greater MA area makes this open challenge that much more interesting. This could be answered by any number of wrestlers who have appeared in NCW before. Alexander Lee, Perry Von Vicious, etc- but we’ve also seen JT Dunn bring The Unit to NCW. If not him it could be someone as equal of a surprise. Regardless, this is going to be a test for The Entourage, and let’s just hope that they pass.

The Heavy Hitters vs Da Hoodz

Two of the best tag teams in this area are in the midst of a feud that could very well end during WrestleFest XVI. These teams have had their issues and this is the only way to solve them. This could be a wrestling match at some point but it is also just as likely to break out into a brawl in which no referee would be able to control. This should provide fans with a sense of old-school tag team wrestling, similar to when The Dudleys fought The Gangstas.

Channing Thomas vs Vern Vicallo

During their six-man match at The Final Countdown, Channing Thomas and Vern Vicallo captured the NCW Tag Team Titles from Brad Cashew and Ricky Smokes. This grudge match was announced before these two teamed with The Lumberjake. It was known that these might be the stakes but the NCW Tag Team Champions are going to collide! Hopefully, whatever the outcome of this match, Channing Thomas and Vern Vicallo can put their differences aside and go into next year on the same page.

NCW Women’s Championship Match: Becca (c) vs Little Mean Kathleen

It feels that Becca has been feuding with Little Mean Kathleen for as long as Becca has held the NCW Women’s Champion. Much of this came to a head at the Big City Rumble when LMK won a gauntlet match to earn a title shot. However, Becca ever the opportunist would cash in that title shot on the spot and defeat LMK after she had already had wrestled. LMK earned this title shot by defeating Isana, and now they go one on one, both being prepared.

This match feels like LMK has to win because for as long as she has been chasing Becca. This title if LMK can’t win here then it would be assumed that her title opportunities are behind her and a new challenger must step up. LMK hasn’t really had that one-on-one fair shot against Becca yet though. This might just be the match that favors her and she can finally pull out the win and not only claim some redemption over Becca but also become the new NCW Women’s Champion.

NCW Championship: The Lumberjake (c) vs “The Victorious” BRG

At the Big City Rumble, The Lumberjake became the new NCW Champion within the main event match. BRG entered this match and was a thorn in the side of The Lumberjake throughout it. He returned later on- aking the place of Channing Thomas. This match feels like it is about The Lumberjake defeating BRG and putting an end to this chapter of his title reign, with a new challenger emerging next year.

However, despite how annoying he might be one cannot simply overlook the raw athletic talent of BRG. This could be his time to shine as he is a worthy contender and sometimes that is forgotten. Either way, both of these wrestlers must be prepared for a war. The Lumberjake doesn’t want to let go of that championship, but BRG wants it badly. This match will be the greatest test that both The Lumberjake and BRG have ever had to endure and it is not to be missed.

WrestleFest XVI takes place on Friday, November 12th, 2021 from Dedham, MA. Tickets and more information can be found by here
