Violent by Design Seeks Revenge

Heath returned from injury a couple of weeks ago on IMPACT Wrestling. In his absence, his good friend Rhino aligned himself with Violent by Design. Rhino was at odds with the rest of VBD when Heath returned. Rhino did not make it clear if he was going to rejoin his friend Heath, or stay with VBD. This set up a tag match at Bound for Glory between Deaner and Joe Doreing against Heath and a mystery partner. Rhino revealed himself to be Heath’s partner part of the way through the matchup. With Heath and Rhino back on the same page, they were able to defeat VBD at Bound for Glory. Now Doering is looking to get revenge for VBD as he takes on Heath this week on IMPACT.

New Champion Addresses the IMPACT Zone

Mickie James shocked former champion Deonna Purrazzo at Bound for Glory when she ended her reign as Knockouts Champion. The rivalry had been heated since it began at Slammiversary. It resulted in Purrazzo making multiple appearances in the NWA, a brawl at James’s home, and Pick Your Poison Matches. In the end, James defeated Purrazzo and ended the nearly one-year reign of The Virtuosa. Now that Purrazzo is behind her, James will be in Vegas to address the IMPACT Zone. Will Purrazzo demand a rematch? Or will a new challenger step forward to challenge James? Find out on the Bound for Glory fallout edition of IMPACT on AXS TV.

X-Division Title Match

Trey Miguel became the new X-Division Champion at Bound for Glory in a triple threat match. Later in the evening, Rocky Romero entered the Call Your Shot Gauntlet as a surprise entrant. Trey will not have to wait long for his first title defense as Romero has decided to hang around IMPACT for a bit. Rocky has never held gold in IMPACT Wrestling, but the X-Division Title would be a great place to start. Will Trey’s title reign be short-lived? Find out this week on IMPACT on AXS TV!
