ROH World Champion Bandido Announced for GCW Debut

Bandido in GCW

While the pro wrestling world was reeling from the news of the sudden release of Ring of Honor‘s roster and the announcement of an ROH reboot in the spring, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) announced the immediate plans for Ring of Honor’s potentially final World Champion, as it was announced that Bandido – who is also currently the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) World Champion and The Crash Heavyweight Champion in Mexico – would be making his promotional debut during GCW’s upcoming series of shows in Texas and California.

‘Bandido has been ROH World Champion since July when he defeated Rush at ROH Best in the World, and his reign of nearly 680-days is the longest run of a PWG World Champion. GCW is a familiar playground for many ROH stars, including GCW OGs Chris Dickinson and Tony Deppen, former ROH Pure Champion Johnathan Gresham, and most recently, The Briscoes, who recently won the GCW Tag Team titles. With so many talents entering a free agency period, expect a flurry of announcements over the next few weeks.
