At Dragon Gate’s live event celebrating the homecoming of U-T and SBKENTo in Nagoya, there was a title change. SBKENTo defeated Kagetora in his first defense to capture the Open The Brave Gate Championship. Marking the first singles championship for the man that’s only a little over a year into his wrestling career. However, he will get no time to rest after winning the belt.

Former champion, Keisuke Okuda emerged to challenge SBKENTo for the belt. The title match will take place at tomorrow’s show in Osaka live on the Dragon Gate Network. With Okuda looking to not only get back his belt he recently lost, but revenge after being tapped out by SBKENTo at Speed Star Final. SBKento’s title win marks the third title change in the past week as the Brave Gate title went from Okuda to Genki Horiguchi, Horiguchi lost it one day after winning it to Kagetora who has now lost it to SBK.
This has been an uncharacteristic period of uncertainty for a title usually marked by long title reigns. Whether we see the title bounce once more when Okuda challenges or not remains to be seen, we hope SBK can get a run with the title but you never know.
