It’s Tuesday night meaning it’s time for NXT as this was Week 1 of the black and gold brand being on SYFY. A massive main event went down as Adam Cole returned to action to face off with former NXT North American Champion, Bronson Reed. Plus the NXT Breakout Tournament continued as upstart Carmelo Hayes faced Josh Briggs tons at stake to get to the next round. But perhaps the most intriguing of the entire show was what would be next between Samoa Joe and Karrion Kross. After all, it was last week that William Regal was seemingly laid out by Kross, only making the rampage that Joe is preparing to be that much more devastating.
