WWE Raw Card: Sheamus Defends His United States Championship (7/12/21)

Sheamus vs Humberto Carillo WWE Raw Card

It’s finally time that the WWE ThunderDome says goodbye. So many moments have happened inside the arena and despite the location changing, it always felt like the right decision by WWE to have their fans be involved. Tonight’s WWE Raw card will try and go out with a bang for the ThunderDome as a title match, Falls Count Anywhere match, and the final build to Money in the Bank takes place. Here’s a look at the WWE Raw card for tonight.

Sheamus makes his return to the ring for the first time since May 31 as he will defend his United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo. “The Celtic Warrior” has been working his way back after a broken nose that forced him out of action. The last time we saw him, he was pinned by Carrillo and Ricochet in the same night. This is an intriguing match because up until his injury, no one was on the level of Sheamus in terms of quality and weekly interest. Now that he’s back, Carrillo will have to try and not be the one to pay for all of his time off. If all goes right, these two should have one of the better matches Raw has seen since entering the WWE ThunderDome. Expect a win for the champion in this defense.
