Preview: AEW Dark: Elevation (7/5/21) – Showcasing the Women’s Division

AEW Dark Elevatiojn 7/5/21

The last stop before All Elite Wrestling gets back on the road goes through Monday’s AEW: Dark Elevation. As we move closer to the light at the end of the tunnel in this “Empty Arena” era, AEW keeps amping up the volume as far as professional wrestling action goes. Crowds are almost in full force to witness the exciting brand of wrestling this company has to offer.

Three of the best wrestlers in the women’s ranks will be in action.  A “Freshly Squeezed” competitor and a self-proclaimed “Man of the Year” will have their hands full against two incredible opponents. In the main event are two high-flyers willing to risk it all for glory and much more coming your way. The road to Miami is hot and it’s about to get even hotter. Everyone’s favorite Monday night wrestling habit is here once again and it surely won’t pull any punches. Monday is the day, YouTube is the place. And you know what that means – it’s Elevation time! Let’s run it down.

Full AEW Dark: Elevation Card

  • Leila Grey vs. Thunder Rosa

Men on a Mission

The Men of the Year made Darby Allin’s life a living hell over the past number of months. In the hands of Scorpio Sky and “All Ego” Ethan Page, Allin has literally been battered and bruised in every which way imaginable. These two will not stop until they have convincingly put down the man who dares not die. Their ruthlessness knows no bounds, as it seems.

On this week’s Dark: Elevation, one-half of this merciless tag team looks to once again put another name in their ever-growing hit list, as Scorpio Sky takes on a debuting Marcus Kross. This young man has only been in the business for five years and is getting the opportunity of a lifetime. Kross has competed for high-profile companies such as Ring of Honor. He is also a former FSWP South Eastern and Heavyweight Champion in Fire Star Pro Wrestling. This is an impressive resume for a young upstart, but if Scorpio Sky has anything to say about it, he will cut this man’s time in the limelight short if he can. Will Scorpio Sky lay down another beatdown or will Marcus Kross refuse to be a victim and choose to be the victor instead?

Women Rule

Three of AEW’s top performers will be in action on this week’s edition of Elevation. “La Mera Mera” Thunder RosaSerena Deeb, and former longest-reigning AEW World Women’s Champion, Hikaru Shida. These three spectacular performers have been the foundation of the women’s scene in AEW. Their effort and dedication to the cause are a huge reason for the growth and huge leap to prominence that the AEW women’s division has taken as of late. On Monday night, they will go hard to prove once again why they are the absolute best AEW and the professional wrestling industry has to offer. You do not want to miss Monday night’s show as Deeb, Shida, and, Rosa will leave it all in the ring and show what they’re made of.
