Stardom Confirms Natsuko Tora has Torn ACL

Natsuko Tora

Stardom today confirmed that Natsuko Tora has suffered a torn ACL in her left knee.  Most current projections are that the leader of Oedo Tai will be missing for some time.  Tora’s knee injury occurred during Yokohama Dream Cinderella 2021 in Summer in her main event match with Utami Hayashishita.  Tora hurt her knee 10 minutes into the match leading to the match being called off and Tora getting stretchered out.

Fans were initially hopeful that Tora’s injury would be on the lighter side but Stardom’s confirmation that she suffered a torn ACL means that Oedo Tai will be without its leader for the foreseeable future and that Tora will miss the 5STAR Grand Prix which she was announced for earlier in the show.

Tora’s injury came at the worst time as Oedo Tai was on the receiving end of a renewed push with Tora herself leading the charge in their feuds with STARS, Donna Del Mondo, and Utami Hayashishita.  Stardom has learned over the past year to go with the flow following a string of unfortunate injuries like this one so here’s hoping that they can pick up where they left off and keep Oedo Tai on the right path going forward.
