RevPro Announces Card for Live at the Cockpit 51

England’s Revolution Pro Wrestling has announced its fight card for its July 4 show at The Cockpit in London, England. Although the RevPro event has sold out, tickets were sold at limited capacity due to Covid-19 restrictions. Until July 19, London is in a state of semi-lockdown as the city tackles the spread of the Delta Variant of the virus.

Due to these Covid-19 restrictions, RevPro announced that there will be no merch table at the venue. Guidelines for attending The Cockpit are available at www.thecockpit.org.uk/covid_19.

“Despite obstacles in our way, we remain undeterred in our quest to produce the best pro wrestling on these shores,” states RevPro on its website. “We’re excited to be getting back to doing what we love and we thank you for your continued support throughout these difficult times.”

NXT UK Lures Away Woman’s Champion and Challenger

The released fight card for the Sunday show includes a match for the now vacant Undisputed British Women’s Championship. Originally, Jamie Hayter was going to defend her title against Skye Smitson. However, both women were contacted by WWE’s NXT UK for a try-out and both women chose to pursue this opportunity. With this decision, Hayter vacated the title.

In place of the Hayter vs. Smitson fight, Gisele Shaw and Zoe Lucas, the two women to hold the belt before Hayter, will now clash to decide a new Undisputed British Women’s Champion.

Doug Williams returns to RevPro

Another highlight on the card includes the return of veteran British wrestler Doug Williams. The former British Judo Champion and ROH and TNA alumni will compete in a three-on-three tag team match. After Sunday, Williams is scheduled to wrestle with RevPro on a number of dates for the rest of 2021.

The full card is as follows:

– Doug Williams, Kenneth Halfpenny & Shaun Jackson Vs Brendan White, JJ Gale & Callum Newman

– Robbie X vs. Chris Ridgeway

– Chakara vs. Chantal Jordan

– Big Guns Joe vs. Lee Hunter

– Great British Tag League Block A: Destination Everywhere (Michael Oku & Connor Mills) vs. Lykos Gym (Kid Lykos & Kid Lykos II)

– Undisputed British Women’s Championship: Zoe Lucas vs. Gisele Shaw

– Iron Fist Match for the Southside Heavyweight Championship

-Ricky Knight Jr vs. Dan Moloney

RevPro OnDemand

Within 48 hours of the event, RevPro intends to make the full show available on its streaming service, www.rpwondemand.com. With this new service, RevPro are working towards soon providing live broadcasts.
