Blair Davenport, Formerly Known as Bea Priestley, Arrives in NXT UK

Blair Davenport aka Bea Priestley NXT UK

Blair Davenport has officially arrived in NXT UK. On Thursday’s episode of the show, Davenport finally revealed her identity as they hype up her official debut. She was of course revealed to be Bea Priestley, who has made a massive career overseas as one of Japan’s top gaijin talents and in Europe as well.

Here’s the official reveal:

While she is now known as Blair Davenport, Priestley had a successful career prior to joining WWE. She was a key member of the Stardom roster in Japan, winning the World of Stardom Championship by defeating Japanese legend Kagetsu in 2019. This is the same championship that the likes of Io Shirai and Kairi Sane have also held. Priestley also held the SWA Championship, Goddesses of Stardom Championships, and Artist of Stardom Championships as well. Her final match with the promotion came in April at Yokohama Dream Cinderella, where she competed against Utami Hayashishita for the World of Stardom Championship.

Davenport also had time in AEW where she made her debut at Fight For The Fallen in 2019. Her last match for the company occurred in March 2020 where she was setting up a potential feud with then AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose before having to head home due to COVID-19. She was quietly released in August 2020.

With her arrival in NXT UK, she has to be one of the potential contenders to dethrone champion Meiko Satomura.
