Report: Daniel Bryan WWE Contract Expired

Daniel Bryan WWE Contract

Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select reported the latest update on the Daniel Bryan WWE Contract situation.   Sapp is reporting that Bryan’s contract expired following his match with Roman Reigns that saw him get banished from SmackDown following a definitive loss to the “Tribal Chief”.

Daniel Bryan WWE Contract Reportedly Expires

Bryan’s future has been up in the air for some time with the man himself not shy to bring up a possible retirement, he is 40 and has a family so who could really blame him for this choice.  Another wrinkle is that Daniel Bryan has been vocal about something feeling off when he main evented WrestleMania this year with Reigns and Edge.  Could this have led to his decision to not re-sign with the company?  Has WWE burnt out someone that fought so hard to wrestle again?

Whatever the future holds Daniel Bryan is one of the greatest WWE Superstars of his generation and will be remembered as such for years to come.  Professional wrestling in 2021 is the most competitive landscape in two decades and any company in the world would be lucky to have a game-changer like Daniel Bryan on their roster.  Should Bryan leave for pastures anew professional wrestling is about to get even more exciting
