FTW Title Match

There’s been some dissension in the ranks of Team Taz following Brian Cage and Ricky Starks‘ loss to Sting and Darby Allin at Revolution.  Cage appeared on Dynamite last week and offered his respect to Sting, much to the annoyance of Taz and Co. This week on Dark, Cage defends the title Taz gave him, the FTW Championship, against Brandon Cutler, and Taz’s son Hook will be in Cage’s corner.

SCU Continue Their Climb

SCU got lost in the shuffle last year, leading to a frustrated Christopher Daniels mulling retirement and an equally frustrated Frankie Kazarian calling his bluff, telling his partner and longtime friend that they’re done as a team if they ever lose again. That seems to have motivated them, and they’ve been on a winning streak ever since that has placed SCU at the top of AEW’s tag team division. It seems like only a matter of time before the duo challenges the Young Bucks for the titles, but tonight they’re looking to continue their winning streak against the team of Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs, who recently debuted on Dark: Elevation.

Jack Evans Back In Action

Jack Evans of The Hybrid2 is back on Dark this week after an alleged botched spot last week left his opponent, 10 of the Dark Order, with a bloody mouth. The incident was reported to have caught Evans some heat backstage, and he wasn’t in the corner of his tag partner Angelico the following night on Dynamite for Angelico’s match against Rey Fenix. Evans will be taking on the 19-year-old Dante Martin on this week’s episode of Dark.

The Bunny’s In-Ring Debut

Despite being one of AEW’s earliest signings, the company hasn’t done much from an in-ring standpoint with Allie. Having wrestled just a few matches of late, Allie returns to the ring this week, only this time under the guise of an old gimmick. Allie is set to debut the Bunny, a character with a mean streak, in AEW for the first time, against the winless Jazmin Allure. The Bunny will have Butcher and Blade in her corner so it’s hard to see Allure picking up the upset. It’s time for the AEW faithful to meet the Bunny.
