Mark Davis Returns to the Ring

Mark Davis Return

Following 16 months out with an injury Mark “dunkzilla” Davis made his return to the ring at PWA Black Label in Australia.  Davis made his return to team with long-time partner Kyle Fletcher as Aussie Open picked up where they left off.  Aussie Open faced, and defeated Generation Now (Ricky South & Matty Wahlberg).

Mark Davis last performed in a wrestling ring for PROGRESS Wrestling in October of 2019 against Jordan Devlin and Scotty Davis and the Grizzled Young Vets (James Drake & Zack Gibson.  He did make subsequent appearances on Schadenfreude & Friends but they weren’t necessarily proper matches.  Davis and Kyle Fletcher have picked up where they left off teaming in Davis’ return match.

While in the UK Mark Davis was one of the top stars on the scene as he won numerous championships in all of the top companies in Europe.  Some were alongside Fletcher as Aussie Open but Davis was also a success on his own as he won the Fight Club: Pro Championship.  His return to PWA is a big gain for the company which is currently filled with talent with the returns of Aussie Open and Charli Evans from the UK as well as their own homegrown talents reaching their potential, Australian Wrestling may finally get the worldwide acclaim it has deserved for some time.
