For most fans, the main attraction of the WWE Network in January will be the 2021 Royal Rumble event. This is one of the four big pay-per-views of the year; the others are considered SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and WrestleMania. The Royal Rumble is the starting point to this year’s WrestleMania, where many major stories start to take shape. For WWE Network subscribers, this will be the key reason to stay on. However, the classic content should satiate the appetites of wrestling historians.

Case and point, Wrestling Challenge. This month, the WWE Network will upload thirteen episodes of the WWE-produced show that originally aired from 1986 to 1995. Not unlike Sunday Night Heat or currently, Main Event, Wrestling Challenge served as a platform to showcase upper-to-mid level stars, often against developmental talent.

There will be a number of talent-centric uploads on the WWE Network this month, too. In addition to content focused on current WWE Superstars such as Bayley and Bianca Belair, there will be a “Best Of” series featuring the best matches of the late Jon Huber, formerly known in WWE as Luke Harper. WWE has paid tribute to Huber over the past several days, not only on TV but online through tributes, and this upcoming match collection should prove nothing short of memorable as well.
