#AndNEW: Bea Priestley & Konami Win Goddesses Of Stardom Titles

Stardom Utami Hayashishita Saya Bea Pirestley & Konami

At Stardom’s Year End Climax the headlines were stolen by the shocking return of Nanae Takahashi and Yoshiko to Stardom.  While the return of the two former world champions rightfully grabbed people’s attention we did see a title change on the show as Bea Priestley & Konami won the Goddesses Of Stardom Championships for Oedo Tai.

The Oedo Tai members defeated Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani to win the championships.  Both Konami and Priestley have been tag team experts in their careers as Konami previously won the titles with Jungle Kyona and had a successful run with the titles.  Now she has captured them again after joining Oedo Tai and beginning to team with Priestley.  Priestley has also won the titles once before and has been a Goddesses Of Stardom tag league finalist and winner in the past.

Bea Priestley & Konami will want to avoid some of Priestley’s recent pitfalls as her last two title reigns have ended on her very first defense.  In a very competitive tag team scene which has Himeka & Maika, Himeka & NatsuPoi, MOMOAZ, Natsuko Tora Saki Kashima, and any number of STARS or Cosmic Angels teams it will be tough for Bea Priestley & Konami to hold on to the titles for very long.
