#AndNEW: Cosmic Angels Win Artist Of Stardom Championships

Cosmic Angels

At Stardom’s Road To Osaka Dream Cinderella event they had one championship match on the card.  The Oedo Tai trio of Natsuko Tora, Bea Priestley, and Saki Kashima defended their recently won Artist Of Stardom titles against the Cosmic Angels of Tam Nakano, Mina Shirakawa, and Unagi Sayaka.

This was Oedo Tai’s first defense of the titles and this is the second title run of Priestley’s to end without a successful defense.  For Shirakawa and Unagi, this is their first title win since joining Stardom, for group leader Tam Nakano this is her third win of the trios titles.  The Cosmic Angels have come into Stardom and immediately picked up some momentum which has helped Nakano recover from her losses to Giulia.  The angels are currently embroiled in a feud with STARS and Mayu Iwatani specifically as technically all three are in STARS but they also appear to be their own entity which hasn’t sat well with Iwatani.

Oedo Tai didn’t let the Cosmic Angels have the last word as Priestley and Konami challenged Utami Hayashishita and Saya Kamitani for the Goddesses Of Stardom titles, Priestley was actually goddesses champion earlier this year and never lost the belts.  Still, this was the Cosmic Angels’ moment as they hold gold for the first time as a unit.
