Preview: Gatoh Move ChocoPro #66 (11/19/20)

ChocoPro 66

If there’s one thing that ChocoPro has proven over the past several months, it’s that it is capable of producing excellent matches. From competitive singles encounters to comedic multi-person bouts and beyond, Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling‘s YouTube show has something for everyone. This upcoming episode of ChocoPro will prove to be no different, as it will feature a main event encounter between two of the show’s most formidable fighters. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for episode sixty-six.

Sayuri vs. Emi Sakura

The last time Sayuri faced Emi Sakura, in singles competition, was back in June. Though the future ninpo specialist of ChocoPro put on a solid effort, it was the founder of Gatoh Move that emerged victorious. Since then, Sayuri has developed into a crafty, ninja-like competitor, utilizing illusion in order to become an elusive fighter. Now, several months later, the two will face off once again. Emi Sakura has seen unsteady success as of late under the guise of “Emi Pencil?” Can she start to build more consistent momentum with a win over the determined “Kunoichi” in Sayuri?

Warm Caterpillars (Chie Koishikawa and Mei Suruga) vs. Tokiko Kirihara and Antonio Honda

Last week, on episode sixty-four of ChocoPro, Warm Caterpillars picked up an impressive victory over Yuna Mizumori and Minoru Fujita, collectively known as Rotten Yahho. To say that Warm Caterpillars have become popular in short order would be an understatement. Mei Suruga has proven herself as a capable tag team competitor, and alongside the high-energy style of Chie Koishikawa, success has been well-earned. On this week’s episode, they will have to face the unique combination of striking expertise with unorthodox comedic antics. Tokiko Kirihara and Antonio Honda may seem like a mismatch, but they may prove formidable all the same.

Yuna Mizumori vs. Baliyan Akki

On the previous episode of ChocoPro, Chie Koishikawa and Baliyan Akki battled the duo of Tokiko Kirihara and Yuna Mizumori. The match concluded when Akki executed the Namaste Splash on Kirihara. Post-match, a worn Akki showed respect toward Mizumori, a Gatoh Move star he has history with. The two shook hands in a show of mutual regard. Given the history in question, it should come as no surprise that these feelings exist.

Back in season one, Mizumori found herself in a slump. The often cheerful “Pineapple Girl” of Gatoh Move was struggling to find herself. To her, this was made no easier due to the constant encouragement of Emi Sakura. Yunamon became more hostile and one of the individuals caught in the crossfire was Akki. On episode fifteen, they faced off in a heated singles encounter, Akki having to put in his all to overcome the heated Mizumori. There was no decisive winner, however, as they fought to the twenty-minute time limit.

Since then, Mizumori and Akki have become more cordial with one another. While they may not win tag team gold together anytime soon, it’s clear that their feelings toward one another have mellowed over the past several months. Thus, this upcoming ChocoPro main event will be fought based on respect. Following the aforementioned twenty-minute match, Mizumori and Akki have yet to wrestle another singles contest. Who will come out victorious this time? Will “Tropical Yahho” reign supreme or will ChocoPro’s self-proclaimed “Ace” add another victory to his record?
