Deonna Purrazzo Announced for GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3

Deonna Purrazzo Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 3

Last week, Game Changer Wrestling announced that Deonna Purrazzo would be participating in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3. The event is set to take place at Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 11th, 2020. For fans that are unable to attend in person, it will air live on FITE.tv as well. The following participants have been confirmed for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3:

Josh Alexander
Homicide
Deonna Purrazzo

Currently, Deonna Purrazzo is the reigning IMPACT Knockouts Champion. “The Virtuosa” won the title at Slammiversary, which took place this past July, when she bested Jordynne Grace. Since then, Purrazzo has established herself as the top women’s competitor in IMPACT Wrestling. She also made history last month, when she defended the title in the first-ever Knockouts 30-minute Iron Man Match. Simply put, she entered IMPACT Wrestling as a star and her light has shined bright ever since.

Prior to joining IMPACT this year, Purrazzo was part of WWE, where she worked full time from the spring of 2018 up until this past April. Though she failed to win any championships, “The Virtuosa” appeared on WWE programming multiple times. She also competed in the second Mae Young Classic, where she bested Priscilla Kelly and Xia Li before eventually falling to current NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai. Other pre-IMPACT accomplishments of Purrazzo’s include the GCW Women’s Championship. She won the title in 2016 and was their last recognized titleholder before it became inactive the same year.

When it comes to competitors for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3, Purrazzo’s style fits. Wrestling fans know her for her technical, slow-paced approach that favors submissions. Her Fujiwara armbar has led her to multiple victories and championships alike. Seeing as how matches at this event can only conclude by knockout or submission, Purrazzo will feel right at home. Expect her to make a big impression at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3.

GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3 will take place at Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 11th, 2020. Tickets for the events are on sale now. For those that are unable to attend live, Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport will air live on FITE.tv; further details can be found below. GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3 is part of a larger project known as The Collective. Be sure to check out other events during this block and support independent wrestling!
