Preview: Gatoh Move ChocoPro #32 (7/16/20)

ChocoPro

The summer continues to heat up and the intensity continues to be felt on ChocoPro. On this week’s episode of Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling‘s YouTube show, the newest tandem donned in overalls will continue their efforts against a new yet formidable team. We will also see a few singles matches that, based on the styles involved, will have no problem entertaining. Take a deep dive into this upcoming episode of ChocoPro.

Sayuri vs. Mei Suruga

On the previous episode of ChocoPro, the undersized underdog known as Sayuri adopted a new interest. Brandishing a shuriken and utilizing ninja-like tactics, Sayuri has fully embraced the art of ninpo. The fact that she and tag team partner Mei Suruga briefly outsmarted the tandem of Mitsuru Konno and Yuna Mizumori shows that the aforementioned interest is more than just show. When utilized, it could lead Sayuri to her first taste of singles victory.

To achieve this, however, Sayuri will have to overcome Mei Suruga. When measured against one another, Sayuri just barely succeeds Suruga in terms of height. However, the “Apple Fighter” of Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling remains one of the most formidable wrestlers in the promotion. Whether she’s fighting alongside Baliyan Akki as Best Bros. or working solo, a victory over Suruga feels earned. Though they were partners last week, Sayuri and Suruga find themselves on opposite sides of Ichigaya Chocolate Square on this upcoming episode.

Tokiko Kirihara vs. Baliyan Akki

Recently, Tokiko Kirihara has enjoyed success alongside Mitsuru Konno. This, along with her growing popularity, has made Kirihara one of the featured stars on ChocoPro. Despite her playful demeanor, evidenced by her use of “The Twist” during offense, Kirihara remains a formidable fighter in her own right. This week, the one known as “Otoki-san” will find herself standing off against a sizable challenge this week on ChocoPro, as she faces Baliyan Akki in singles competition.

Much like Suruga, Akki finds himself without his tag team partner on this episode. This won’t be a major issue for the sensation from India, as he brings a fair amount of strength and tremendous agility to Gatoh Move. He’s also not short on confidence, as he considers himself one of the “aces” of the promotion. Will this combination of traits lead him to victory against the former kickboxer in Kirihara? Regardless, expect this match to hit hard and fast.

Pencil Army (Lulu Pencil and Emi Sakura) vs. Mitsuru Konno and Yuna Mizumori (ChocoPro Main Event)

When Emi Sakura began teaming with Lulu Pencil on episode 29 of ChocoPro, it was difficult to know what to expect. Sakura had been suffering from considerable back issues as of late, which rendered her offense less impactful than it would have been otherwise. Lulu Pencil, always the underdog, has been unable to make up for this shortcoming. Nonetheless, the team known as Pencil Army has remained steadfast, unwilling to give up the fight. This week, they will stand up against another challenge.

Episode 30 of ChocoPro saw Mitsuru Konno and Yuna Mizumori create an unlikely tandem. Despite this, they were able to secure a huge victory over Sayuri and Mei Suruga. The conclusion of episode 31 saw Sakura make the challenge to Konno and Mizumori. This has led us to this upcoming episode’s main event. Between Konno’s flexibility and Mizumori’s power, this combination of beer and tropical fruit has made for a sweet result. Will this newly-formed be able to pick up another win against a team that’s all heart? Tune into this upcoming episode to find out.
